Fun projects!

Here's a selection of fun Arduino projects I did: an interactive retail shelf, a MIDI Player blending traditional and digital sounds, and a dynamic ping-pong scoreboard.

MIDI Player

COMPANY: BLIP BLIP INDUSTRIES
YEAR: 2013

I created an innovative musical device combining traditional water vase sounds with modern technology.

Using Arduino for electronics and Pure Data for sound translation, I crafted a player that used wooden sticks to produce notes from tuned glasses.

This unique blend of rough, untreated wood and soft music was showcased in a video synchronized with Walter Ferguson's song "Computer."

Peloteo scoreboard

COMPANY: MULTITOUCH BARCELONA
YEAR: 2012

I led the creation of an interactive scoreboard for a ping pong tournament in Barcelona, enhancing the experience for players and spectators.

The scoreboard featured animations of player emotions and arcade buttons for scorekeeping, integrating photos taken at the event.

My role involved software development, electronics work, and handling last-minute issues under pressure.

COMPANY: SAPIENTRAZORFISH
YEAR: 2017

I worked on bridging the gap between physical and digital retail by developing a concept for a sunglasses shop.

This integration used interactive shelves that combined digital browsing with physical product interactions.

I engineered a proof of concept using LEDs, an Arduino board, and a custom interface, successfully demonstrating the functionality.
